Lessons Learned

Widespread concerns and frustration have been building for decades among researchers and practitioners involved in planning, monitoring and evaluation of risks, disasters and crises. Concerns and frustration because many of the lessons learned from previous crises are not put in practice: not at all, too late or only in part. They see the same mistakes being made and various wheels reinvented each time there is a ‘new’ crisis. The current Covid-19 pandemic included.
